Energy is an increasingly relevant topic for us all. However, there are many complexities surrounding the market drivers, energy cost and the carbon footprint from different sources and applications.
As a service to clients, for general knowledge and to start them off on the right foot, BEA has developed a seminar aimed at providing a fact-based perspective to use when evaluating efficiency opportunities. The goal is to provide the background needed to direct capital funds into areas that produce the best environmental and economic benefit.
The seminar includes a description of quantities, costs and emissions in ways that are relevant to participants. It also describes the industry in Western and Northern Canada to provide participants a perspective on bigger picture issues that affect us all. There are a variety of topics covered which culminate in an apple to apples comparison of energy by type and area.
